These are the things that we we do best
General aches &
pains
Weekend warrior or full-time athlete — injuries don't discriminate, and neither does the Great Southern landscape. Whether it's a dodgy knee from the footy season, a shoulder that's been grumbling since shearing, or a back that's taken one too many tractor hours — we can help.
Chiropractic care for injuries focuses on restoring normal joint function, reducing pain, and getting you back to doing what you love as quickly as possible. We take a whole-body approach, meaning we're not just looking at where it hurts — we're looking at why.
Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, home exercises and load management advice tailored to your sport, your season, and your lifestyle.

What can we help with?

We also support mothers who are experiencing difficulties with breastfeeding. Often, what feels like a feeding problem is actually a function problem — and it can be coming from bub's side, mum's side, or both. Jaw tightness, tongue tie, and restrictions in the muscles and joints around the mouth and neck can make latching painful and inefficient, leading to damaged nipples, poor milk transfer and a lot of frustration for everyone involved. We work gently on the muscles and joints of the jaw, neck and skull in both mum and baby to help restore comfort and function — often in combination with your lactation consultant, midwife or IBCLC. If feeding has felt like a battle from the start, it doesn't have to stay that way.

Every child hits their milestones at their own pace — and that's completely normal. But sometimes, when a little one is taking a bit longer to roll, sit, crawl, walk or talk, there can be underlying physical restrictions getting in the way. Tension in the spine, neck or hips can subtly affect how a child moves, loads their body and develops the strength and coordination needed to hit those next steps. We assess how your child is moving and functioning, and work to gently remove any restrictions that may be holding them back. We also love equipping parents with simple, purposeful activities they can do at home to build strength, coordination and confidence in their kids — because the best therapy is the kind that happens every day on the loungeroom floor!

Kids and sport go hand in hand — and so do kids and injuries. Whether it's a rolled ankle on the oval, a sore knee from a growth spurt, or a shoulder that's been grumbling since the swimming carnival, young bodies deserve the same attention we'd give adult ones. Growing pains are common, but that doesn't mean they should just be pushed through. Rapid bone growth can place real demand on the surrounding muscles, tendons and joints, and chiropractic care can help manage that load, reduce discomfort and keep kids moving well through their growing years. We also pay close attention to how young athletes are moving — because the patterns kids develop early tend to stick around, and good foundations now mean fewer problems down the track.
1. First things first…
is it safe?
The short answer? Yes!
The Long Answer
In March 2019, Safer Care Victoria set out to explore exactly this. They led an independent review into the spinal manipulation of children under the age of two. This involved a survey of both the public and the profession, exploring all experiences (positive and negative). Here is what they found:
21 824
99.7%
*which made it the largest health survey ever collected!
98%
said that chiropractic care helped their child
reported a positive experience with chiropractic care for their children
submissions
In Australia, there has NEVER been a serious adverse event reported in the literature or in insurance claims, involving the care of a child by a chiropractor.

2. What does it look like?
At Reach, we only use low force, age appropriate techniques on kids. These include gentle stretches, mobilisations and activation.
At your first appointment we will do a full history and complete a top to tail examination based on the information you have provided us and more.
We will then run through our findings and make sure we have fully explained what we think may going on and whether we can help.
You will always know what we are going to do and why we are doing it!

Pregnancy support
Pregnancy puts your body through an extraordinary amount of change in a very short period of time.
As your baby grows, your posture shifts, your ligaments soften and your joints begin to work harder than they ever have before — and for a lot of women, that comes with some very real discomfort.
Hip pain, lower back ache, pubic bone pain, round ligament tightness, rib flare and that deep gluteal ache that makes rolling over in bed feel like a military operation — these are all things we see and treat regularly.
Chiropractic care during pregnancy focuses on keeping your pelvis balanced, your joints moving well and your nervous system supported so that your body can do what it is designed to do. Treatment is always adapted to your stage of pregnancy and what feels comfortable for you, and our goal is simple — to help you feel as good and your body as ready as possible before you do what you need to do!
And then baby arrives — which is wonderful, and also a whole new set of demands on your body. The early postpartum period is full of feeding, holding, rocking, lifting and generally contorting yourself into whatever position keeps everyone calm.
Upper back and neck pain is extremely common in new parents, driven by the sustained postures of feeding, the forward rounding that comes with cradling a newborn, and the repetition of picking up a baby who is slowly (or not so slowly) getting heavier.
We support women through their postpartum recovery with care that addresses these new physical demands, helps restore core and pelvic function, and makes the day-to-day of early parenthood a little more comfortable on your body.
